AAPL price crushes old record, cruises past $1,000 pre-split per-share price
One should be as dismissive of random spikes UP in AAPL's price as one is of random drops.
While I still believe AAPL is undervalued as a stock and has lot's of room to grow if it were held to the same standards as other companies, I did not detect any news directly related to this jump.
Overall, it continues to rise slowly, but surely. -

Editorial: The future of Steve Jobs' iPad vision for Post-PC computing
hentaiboy said:The vision for post PC computing seems to be smartphones if the graph is to be taken as gospel.
Truth is, many can do with their phones today what a PC was needed for a decade ago. It's just that people are replacing them every one to two years and that helps make Apple metric-fucktons of money!
I didn't see mention of an ARM-based Mac in this article. I'm certain it is coming. Apple would probably love to keep some of that profit instead of sending it to Intel. -

Matte black iPhone 7 owners complain to Apple about chipping paint finish
Chipping of the anodization layer tends to mean contaminated substrate. Oils, dirt, and other contaminants on the base aluminum before it goes into the anodization bath.
Even if the failures were in the 10-20 parts per million, there could be thousands of iphones with this issue.
