This is a very good argument. 

Except a cupholder is not functionally relevant to the car, whereas Apple's patent fundamentally affect the way the Samsung phone operated.  

No one buys a car because of a cupholder.  Steal the cool way a phone works and sell your product like Samsung did?  Shame.


PS: Apple has shitty lawyers.

If you cannot see the individual pixels then isn't the resolution irrelevant? It's the size that defines them. I'm not looking it up, but isn't the pixel density the same?

Politics aside, I only see this as a desperate attempt to reduce investment into an overwhelmed infrastructure and data network while continuing to command the highest possible prices.  

Faster service?  No.  Better video?  No.  More data?  NO!

Shouldn't things be getting better, stronger, faster, and cheaper?

The 27" 5K iMacs have not had it ever because the tech didn't exist.  The 21.5" never allowed it.

I think a 4, 4.7, 5.5" combo is a good strategy.   We just don't really need all the colors, but to each his own.
