This the the dumbest thing I have ever heard.  Companies do not do this.  Apple does not do this.  They set target volumes based on gross margins and production capacity.  Prices drop when margins are above target and production and material costs decrease.  Products are cancelled when they do not meet their minimums.

Can’t you take them out and get prescription VP Lenses? I worse GP hard contacts for 28 years and popping them in and out was cake.

Let’s just hope that Apple doesn’t repeat this of they ever get glucose monitoring working.  

Well, well… how the turn tables.

Apple will find a way but it will take until watch 10 or 11.   No quick fix here.  

This is a way of reducing the returns from people who "have no idea" how it is supposed to work.

How long before refurbed VPs are available?

I'll continue to reserve judgement for that killer app I can't live without.
