Apple should ban in-app purchases and free apps. 

I do think Apple should lock MacOS down to a single Apple provided Mac app-store, but they would likely need to reduce the commission to a much lower figure to appease the big developers and not hurt the platform. Then again, they could even maybe not take a commission at all just like they don’t charge for MacOS upgrades nowadays. 

Perhaps Apple could decide that the first 1,000 downloads a developer gets each month is free, but each and every adfitional download costs the developer $5. 

People can do what they want with the hardware device they own. Bend it, flush it down the toilet or jailbreak it.
The software of course is only licensed and Apple should not have to facilitate anyone being able to do anything.
Hence, if Epic want a 3rd party app-store they can use Cydia.

The distinction is clearly that each “game” or “experience” cannot be bought individually on any platform. If “people” purchased “experiences” in Roblox then Apple’s opinion would I feel be different.
