AirPods Max review: it's not easy to justify the price
inplainview said:Best non-biased review I’ve read here in a long time. For a couple hundred more you could get a pair of B&W P9. I think Apple has lost their way here. While the integration into the Apple ecosystem is great, the price is simply a money grab and an insult to the Apple faithful.
What other Wireless ANC Headphones can you get for $600 that are better sounding? That is the question. I don’t think there is a truly comparable alternative.
Another good question is what better sounding wireless (non-ANC) headphones can you get for similar money?By better sounding, I mean more neutral, not cheap trashy fake bass sony and beats. -

New EU legislation proposes 30% 'European content' minimum for Apple TV+, Netflix
I remember when Netflix service in the UK was very poor with very little content worth watching; so people simply used VPNs to access the US Netflix. If this bill comes to pass, expect the customer to suffer because it will simply reduce the quantity of material available.
e.g. If Netflix had 5% EU content and 95% non-EU content, they will simply remove non-EU content and not increase EU content. They will go from proportionally 100 programs to 18 programs. How is that a win for consumers? -
Apple's AirPods Max likely lacks U1 Ultra Wideband chip
We’ll have to wait for the reviews.
My guess is that they’ll be as good as Sennheiser Momentum 3 & Sony 1000XM4 for general use and music listening.
I think they might however be the best home cinema headphones you can get due to the spatial audio.
They can be used wired, but might not sound better when they are wired. It would mean they could be used with a PS5 though...
So I might get these, might not.
I often use $400 IEMs and I can hear the difference between them and the $400 headphones I have tried very easily.
I get not everybody can afford everything they want and also that not everybody can hear the difference between $200 and $2000.
