  • Netflix raises monthly price of standard plan to $13.99, premium to $17.99

    Not sure why the stock price would rise, am sure there’s many like me taking a look at the price rise and deciding to downgrade to 2 devices. 

    I must say I find Netflix better value than AppleTV+ though, but ATV+ annual subscription was probably worth it for Mythic Quest alone imho.

    The A14 performance is kind of equivalent to the top of the line 13” MacBookPro.
    The A14X for the next iPad Pro will be a step up from that.
    The A14T for the first 12” Appke Silicon MacBook will be another step up from that.

    Oh and my son does cyber-schooling on a MBP using Microsft Teams, Safari etc. just fine. 
    No need for windows if a school is competent.

    Yep. My son uses my 7 year old MBP while low-level gaming with his mates on their wondows laptops and the MBP makes the newer windows laptops look silly. So yes, an A14 based laptop would be a dream machine for many, especially non-professionals.

    The new iPad Air 4 performs far better than my 6 year old i7 iMac according to geekbench scores.
    I suspect an A14X will be kind of equivalent to a 2019 i9 iMac (better in single core and a bit slower in multi core) so a 27” iMac should be possible with an A14T as it will have more cores.

    As already said, it’s long overdue. The only locked iPhone I ever got was the iPhone3 (possibly 3GS too?) as there was no choice back then you couldn’t even buy outright unlocked from an Apple store which I have done ever since it’s been an option

    Subjective review, not objective at all imho. I guess we all have different requirements and priorities.

    AirPodsPro are more neutral and thus are better from an objective audio quality perspective. 

    I agree Bose are better at ANC, so if that is your biggest priority then go Bose.

    The Apple ecosystem benefits such as auto switching should seal the deal for anyone who is less concerned about ANC and more concerned about music (like me). To be honest the auto switching is so compelling I would even prefer APP if the audio quality was a little lower.

    Of course if you really want the best sound quality neither of these wireless earbuds are as good as proper cans or wired IEM.
