Review: Apple's eighth-gen iPad is powerful and expectedly boring
Some of us actually dislike FaceID and much prefer TouchID.So much that I currently plan on getting the Air4 instead of the iPadPro because of it.TouchID is more important to me than Promotion for example.
If the Air4 didn’t have TouchID I would have been inclined to get this iPad for general use given the A12 is the minimum for a lot of ARKit advances. This iPad is a bargain imho but should have come with a higher base storage amount.

Compared: Apple's 2020 iPad Air versus 2020 11-inch iPad Pro
It’s all about th 6 months range difference. When iPad Air4 lands it will be better value for most, until the iPad Pro is updated then that will be the better value for most. If the price hadn’t risen or if iPad Air4 started with 128GB it would be a clearer difference.

Apple Watch SE & Family Setup aims for a slice of the kids GPS tracker market
I’d like to know more detail about the School Time mode.Does it only work with an SE Watch? Will Series 3 work?Can it be used without Family Setup? I.e. without a parents iPhone.
My son has an iPhone, but an Apple Watch with School Time mode might be a good buy for him too...Currently his school won’t allow smart watches, but maybe they will relent with School Time mode... -
Apple A14 Bionic announcement hints at 'iPhone 12' performance
The A14 doesn’t seem like a major jump up from the A13, kind of equivalent to the A12Z but with less power draw.
This of course bodes well for the next iPad Pro with A14X.
It bodes even better for the unknown Apple Silicon in the forthcoming AS Macs.
