We, at Social Technologies LLC™, believe Memoji® will set the text-com world ablaze, and send engagement through the roof. Available on Google Play now.”

    It reads to me that their app was not for sale before Apple launched their Memoji and it hasn’t taken off, so they plan b to try and get some of their investment capital paid back by Apple. Feels like bad luck and bad timing on their part but that’s business. Pre-sales activity is not sales activity.

    A monopoly (from Greek μόνος, mónos, 'single, alone' and πωλεῖν, pōleîn, 'to sell') exists when a specific person or enterprise is the only supplier of a particular commodity.

    Even if Apple sold 99% of all smartphones it would not be a monopoly.

    Do cellular and non-cellular get different SKU? I assume they do.

    There are currently five different ipads, ipad, mini, air, pro11 & pro12.9
    So if they were updating all ipads, why not 10 SKUs?

    7 is an odd number, so does this mean one ipad variant can’t have cellular?

    If there were 8 SKUs that would make sense to me, ipad and ipad air combine and update all sizes/models to avoid the feature/value discrepancy that will exist if they don’t upgrade all the models at once.

    I see this year as a good opportunity to align product refreshes across the board annually (like iPhone) with the incoming Apple Silicon Macs.

    But maybe we will get new ipad mini, ipad and ipad air in wifi and cellular versions with and an extra pad air with 5G

    Epic Games develops Fortnite with an ios developer account and Epic International develops Unreal with a mac developer account.
    If Apple had terminated Epic Internationals mac developer account then Unreal would have stopped working (for everyone) and Epic International wouldn’t be able to ship a new version with that mac developer account.
