I see nothing that states Apple cannot stipulate that alternate in-app payment mechanisms have to also offer the Apple-Pay option and be equally priced across mechanisms. Or that Apple cannot still require the same 15% or 30% cut even if an alternate payment mechanism is used. 

Get yourself a new cable if you need usb-a.
or at least an adaptor for a couple of dollars.

An M1X would be faster than an M2.
Totally adds up.
M2X a further 6 months later would subsequently be faster than an M2 of course.

The distinction is clearly that each “game” or “experience” cannot be bought individually on any platform. If “people” purchased “experiences” in Roblox then Apple’s opinion would I feel be different. 

Yep, the 32” iMac will likely have a 6k display. Here’s hoping.

I’ve looked and looked and can’t find a monitor that would satisfy me coming from a 5K Retina iMac.

I do think the 24” iMac is very, very good value, when you compare the cost of a comparable Mac Mini with Apple Keyboard, Apple Mouse - the 4.5K display with good speakers and webcam is only costing about $450 which makes it a bargain to get a retina display for that.
