    I hope the sale to the tribe who had this land stolen from them was for a token amount. 

    Too bad it had been a cattle ranch. My local State Park of about the same size was also a long time cattle ranch. Such usage destroys much of the native flora communities and allows invasives like mustard to replace them. Pristine parcels are hard to come by. 

    Still, excellent news.

    Tried wife and I both using our AirPod Pros to watch AppleTV. Screen indicated that with two users using Pods simultaneously (sharing), that Spatial Audio was disabled. Sure hope that gets fixed with AVPs. Would be a bummer not having that cool sound feature when watching with others. Guess you could use on board speakers, but that would disturb others nearby who are doing other things.

    Perhaps Apple needs a “Racing Division” apart from consumer/prosumer products? They could afford to put a few engineers to work making geeky dream machines for aspirational and vanity purposes. Who knows, maybe some of their innovations would eventually trickle down to benefit us regular users?

    I, like Dewme and many others, have had cataract surgery (mine being mono vision). Distance was pretty good before surgery and now is near perfect. Can read without glasses but with them is better (especially tiny text close up). As Dewme notes, with AVP you are looking at a screen that is so close to your eye that no one could focus on it. I presume their three-part lens between your eye and the screen allows you to resolve the image—like using a magnifying glass. You’d think with those lenses that some kind of adjustment would be possible to sharpen the image like other optical instruments like binoculars or microscopes. Am hoping that is the case, and that my corrected vision is within the nominal range for use without added lenses. If not, it would seem that the only folks who can use AVP out of the box would be those with 20/20 vision.
