Looks like a nice upgrade copying the Mac OS dock.
4GB of RAM requirement is is pretty good; plus a JVM to run Android apps.
Congrats to Microsoft, but it should be free to all Windows version users.
The independent commerce systems within the app is BS. MS could not control it otherwise because the cat is already out of the bag.

Wow... That is awesome!
One can stack a gazillion of these into a server farm in a relatively small data center space.
They will also remain relatively cool as they sip power for heavy duty processing.

Judge in Epic v. Apple trial presses Tim Cook on App Store model, competition
I think Epic will eventually lose.
They cannot call Apple a monopoly nor anti-competitive in this case.
All they can do is build a better or cheaper product to compete against Apple. Good Luck with that.
Microsoft should be ashamed of itself for testifying against Apple in this case.

Apple debuts colorful 24-inch iMac with M1, upgraded camera and audio
I think the new iMacs are awesome!
16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of SSD is excellent for most folks.
I will wait for a 30 inch iMac with 32 GB of RAM and the 2TB SSD. (need to run VMs)
I am curious to see how the iMac is connected to the stand. It appears that there are 2 magnetic pins that go from the stand into the 24" iMac.
The iMac motherboard is amazingly small and yet has empty space for more surface mounted electronic devices.
