  • iPhone owners emailed to apply for Siri privacy lawsuit's $95M settlement

I will not be submitting a claim. I believe the suit has no merit and that Apple did nothing wrong.  Therefore I will not collect any (minimal) damages for the more than 5 iPhones I've owned during this time.

  • Apple denied intervention in Google search antitrust hearing

In my opinion, there's no reason that they should have developed a general search engine.  To make money on it (business case), they would likely have to charge for advertising (not Apple's business model) or charge for the searches themselves (something that no one would want to pay for).

  • Apple doesn't appear to have plans to revive the iPhone mini

My wife (and many of her friends) value the size of the mini far more than battery life, etc. She is totally unwilling to consider updating from her 12 mini and there are many more people who feel the same. A new model could sell many millions, although not nearly as many as larger iPhones.

  • A complete guide to all of Apple's new bands for the Apple Watches

    shoewee said:
So it looks like you can order the new Titanium Milanese Loop that says it's for Ultra 2.  It says it is for 49 mm Apple Watches.  I have a Series 6 right now, is there any reason this band would not fit a Series 6?  You can see the actual page for the new Milanese Loop here.  Any idea if it will work on the stainless steel Apple Watches?

    Here's what Apple says:
    Band Compatibility
The Titanium Milanese Loop, Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, Ocean Band and Hermès En Mer strap are designed for Apple Watch Ultra and pair best with the 49mm case size. The bands are also compatible with 44mm, 45mm and 46mm cases
I was tempted to order one for the Series 10 titanium watch that I have ordered.  However, it is not the same color as the watch, and I wasn't sure how it would look (even if compatible). I decided to wait until after I have the new watch, and see one in an Apple Store...

  • iPhone users still aren't rushing to buy the latest models

I agree that people should do what they want and can afford. I personally have been on the Apple iPhone Update Program and get the newest model iPhone each year.  This is what I prefer, and I can afford it.  The iPhone that I turn in is generally refurbished and used for replacements for people needing them. And I enjoy having the latest revisions. But it is my choice -- if I decide not update any year, I can finish off paying for the remainder of the 0% loan and keep the phone.
