  • KEF's new LSX II LT Wireless HiFi speakers have AirPlay and are more affordable

Would be interesting to go listen to a pair - I'd listened to the original LSX and didn't think they sounded that great, at least, not compared to KEF's LS50 (which I wound up buying). The $999 price is competitive with Sonos Five or Era 300.
I've had a pair of the original green LSX for about 3 years. Later, I added a KEF KUBE 10b subwoofer.
They're in my bedroom used mainly for streaming music, but also streaming movies with an Apple TV 4K and 32" Viewsonic IPS monitor.

I listen mostly to classical music… mediaeval to contemporary… and opera and they're excellent for that.
Detailed, accurate sound, flat response, good sound stage, but with enough heft to handle complex orchestral music with ease.
With AirPlay 2 I can stream to them from my Mac, iPhone or iPad, too. And also play simultaneously with the KEF speakers in my living room.

There's an option to connect the two speakers with a special (included) Ethernet cable to increase the sampling rate of music being streamed.
It seems to help the sound, anyway. It's great they added HDMI ARC support and a USB-C input.

They're cute, too. Not too big! I've been very happy with them. My wife likes them, too! Definitely worth a listen.
I think KEF USA has a 30 day trial, at least with some of their other speakers.

  • Supply chain report says OLED is next for iPad, but foldables don't have a concrete timeli...

The whole foldable thing just seems like a useless gimmick to me.
All technology seems like useless gimmicks until someone succeeds in making an innovation on it.
Not really. It really depends on what it is.

Some things that can be done, really aren’t worth it on multiple levels.
More complex, more moving parts, heavier, more potential failure points, more expensive.
With a folding screen, there’s the fold itself and distortion

Is it worth it? Simpler is usually better.

Just use the wonderful AirFly. If you get the Pro, you can have two devices paired at one time. https://www.twelvesouth.com/products/airfly
Yeah, Twelve South makes some GREAT stuff!
I got my wife a folding CurveFlex MacBook Pro stand.
I have a HoverBar Duo iPad stand so I can watch stuff like bike races and hockey games while I'm working.

The AirFly is definitely on my list.

  • Can Apple Vision Pro reinvent the computer, again?

`...before Apple's Human User Interface Guideline writers coined the term that we today shorten to "app."`

This is complete nonsense. The term "application", denoting software distinct from the operating system itself, goes back to the 1950's at least.

Apple used the term “application” instead of “program” back at least as far as the Mac’s introduction in 1984.
I’m not familiar with the first Apple computers, maybe someone else is.

Apple certainly started using the term “app” with the iPhone and iPod Touch when they introduced the App Store.
It seemed to have taken off from there. I’m not sure when Android started using “app”, though.
