Apple wants to make grooved keys to stop nasty finger oil transfer to MacBook Pro screens
This seems like a non-issue.
There are very simple ways to avoid getting keyboard paw oils on your screen without spending millions of dollars in R&D for a complicated "solution".
When taking my MacBook Pro out of the house, I ALWAYS cover the keyboard with a microfibre cloth that covers the entire keyboard before closing the lid, being sure the cloth faces the same way UP every time I use it.
Then I put it in a neoprene sleeve.
Guess what? NO oily keyboard prints on the screen!
The current one I use is a Shaggymax. Had it since my 15" 2012 MacBook Pro. It fits my 16" MacBook Pro M3, too.

I've been doing the SAME thing since I got my first PowerBook G3 "Bronze Keyboard" with USB.

How to make Apple Music more private by turning off 'Discoverable by Nearby Contacts'
I got a 1TB iPhone for portable music so I don't clog up my MacBook Pro's SSD.
At just about 500GB right now.
I don't use any music streaming services.
All my iPod music is ripped Apple Lossless from my CD Music Library.
So, looking at the sequence from the article, I only have Home Sharing active.
There's no Shared Listening or Listening History shown.
Guess I don't have to worry about people peeking at my Franco-Flemish polyphony collection. -

iVANKY FusionDock Max 1 review: Twice the Thunderbolt bandwidth, twice the price
4 monitor ports? For $550? Seriously?
I just picked up a $200 CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Element Dock. It’s nice, except it has 4 USB-A ports and only 3 USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports. That dock replaces a CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 dock. Half the ports were unused.I’ve been slowly weaning myself off USB-A buying cables with USB-C on one end and USB-C, Lightning and even micro-USB (headphone DAC and bike computers) on the other end.So, for $9 I just bought a 4-pack of stubby USB-A to USB-C adaptors to stick into the USB-A ports.
A kludge, but it'll work. They’re purple, too!
