  • Apple strips Facebook & Twitter integration from macOS Mojave

Finally. I've filed so many feedback complaints about these parasitical organisms infesting the Apple products I purchase. I use software to block anything entering or leaving my equipment which adds to the feeding cycle of bloated leeches. This means I prefer to rely on my wits than opt in to using Google (un)Safe Browsing in Safari. I block Facebook, any and all Google services, Twitter, and many other unsocial media sites. Now, we have to keep the pressure on to get Apple to disassociate entirely from Google. That relationship is too disgusting and shows an Apple which is contemptible toward its customers. The thought of Apple hand in gland with Google is as nightmarish as Jews cosying up to the SS.

  • Class action claims all Apple Watches are defective

We thew away two Apple Watches in our household (given as Xmas presents and both less than a year old when the exact same faults developed) because both watches split apart and Apple support (telephonically deduced) the faults of that nature were typically due to user misuse and refused to service them without my depositing a sum of money (which actually exceeded the retail cost of new units) to cover the cost of repairs. We were told the deposit was required in case the fault(s) were found to be from misuse and that any service charge would be taken from the deposit. We knew the fault was due to a design flaw and I didn't want to risk Apple charging us for what amounted to more than the purchasing of two brand new watches. So, the rubbish bin it was. I went through a similar ordeal with a pair of AirPods which started misbehaving. I decided on balance it would be less hassle to bin them also. I used to trust Apple engineering and was happy to pay a premium for build quality. However, Apple is getting far too accustomed to glues. This is a sign of bad design and terrible engineering. Unlike Apple products of yesteryear these new products devalue rapidly.

  • Mark Zuckerberg calls Tim Cook's anti-Facebook retort 'glib,' defends ad-based model

If Cook is really concerned about Facebook and Google he could remove all their apps from the App Store. He could replace Google as the default search engine in iOS. And he could tell his teams to make Apple software and services so good no one who owns an Apple device would want to use Gmail, Google Docs or Google Maps.

i just upgraded my wireless router in my house. I bought a Google mesh system. I would rather have bought something from Apple but they don’t make it so Google it was. And so far it’s been working incredibly well.
How I wish Apple would disassociate any of its operating systems from Facebook, Google and the rest of the social-media platforms spread out across the internet like trashed discarded plastic.

  • Mark Zuckerberg calls Tim Cook's anti-Facebook retort 'glib,' defends ad-based model

Mark trying hard to cover his back side! If Facebook were so concerned about the customer then how does CA have data of 50 million users and why is it being investigated by several governments?
The report does mention the fact that the CA trawl and exploitation of Facebook customers' data pre-dated their tougher privacy rules.

That anyone would use Facebook or Google, or any other social-network service escapes me. We have an increasingly self-absorbed and indulgent world population willingly dragging itself down to the lowest denominator imaginable.

  • European Union proposals could tax Apple and other tech giants between 2 percent and 6 per...

I love the Apple ecosystem but I wish they would pay their fair share of tax. Much of what we pay in tax goes in to making a country civilised and humane. Massive corporations, like Apple Inc., should recognise their moral duty to serve the citizens of those countries in which they generate obscene profits by contributing more than new tech. Tax aids the welfare of the most needy and deprived.

Apple claim to act within the fiscal laws of each and every territory, however, this they achive by using mechanisms which are beyond the reach of yer average Joe or even yer more than average Joe.

Does it not trouble each and every one of you that the 62 richest billionaires own as much wealth as the poorer half of the earth's population?
