I'd love to see Apple release a first party controller or at least support Wii U/PS4/XBox controllers out of the box. The MFi program is a waste of everyone's time. The 3rd party hardware is low quality and too expensive. Consequently developer support is underwhelming. I have the overwhelming sense that this could all be resolved in one afternoon of playing Mario Kart 8 with Jonny Ive.
