Your statement is about as idiotic as the one you responded to. The iMac (or any Mac really) isn’t a “lifestyle computer” just as most PCs that age would still boot fine.

Still holding out with my pair of LG 5K. Hope Apple comes out with something closer to the $1k range for a monitor. These guys are hitting 6 years in age and one has some horrific image retention.

Mistake by Apple. After proving that permanent work from home works over the last two years (especially for Apple), what excuse do they have to mandate employees go back to the office? The massive benefits that WFH brings to work/life balance has caught on throughout the country, employers will leverage that perk to lure talent and employees will look to companies that offer that.

Sounds like a solution in search of a problem. The geek in me still wants them to make it, but I just can’t see the practicality of it.
