Mistake by Apple. After proving that permanent work from home works over the last two years (especially for Apple), what excuse do they have to mandate employees go back to the office? The massive benefits that WFH brings to work/life balance has caught on throughout the country, employers will leverage that perk to lure talent and employees will look to companies that offer that.

HomeKit has been an absolute PIA this past couple weeks for me. Practically every device that’s wirelessly connected would have HomeKit “no response” errors in the home app. Native apps for all the devices can still connect fine. I’ve narrowed the issue down to devices connected wirelessly to an AP that’s wirelessly meshed (no physical cable uplink). If I reboot that device and it connects to another AP with a physical uplink it works, but if anything reconnects to the wireless AP they go offline in the Home app (but continue to work in their native apps).

Apple support is useless as they just tell me to reset my network ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, even though devices are connected to network just fine since their native apps still work.

Wish there was technical docs on how the network layer works for HomeKit so I can further troubleshoot. 

Considering you can't use any app while the vehicle is in motion I'm not sure any would actually PAY for anything in that App Store. Because of that reason I don't subscribe to the monthly cost in either of our Teslas. There's just so little benefit to the service.

Everyone here panicking about side loaded apps infiltrating their phones. Uh, just don’t install anything from outside the App Store (just as has been done with the Cydia store for a decade). These straw man arguments are pathetic.

If you're going to argue AppStore vs PlayStore, then you don't understand what's going on. The issue is DEVELOPERS vs App Store owners.
