I just don’t see it. The M2 MacBook Pros just came out in January and they were a very serious upgrade from the previous generation. I just bought an M2 Max 16 inch. I think Apple is going to wait until at least January and more likely the spring before going M3.  I could see the iMac getting one probably the max studio. I just don’t think the MacBook pros are going there yet.  Then again, I didn’t think when I bought a G5 iMac (2006) that they would come out with an Intel one 2 months later 🙃

I’m not a fan of the right to repair movement. Just wait until people start blowing themselves up because they don’t know what they’re doing.  Also, customers make an active choice when they buy a product. I don’t know where this so-called “right” comes from, but they have to be allowed to repair their own product. I suppose I could see a provision where the manufacturer is not allowed to withhold original parts. As for Apple, they are supporting this because it’s good PR. Apple is genius when it comes to knowing which way the wind is blowing.  

I don’t see how this is even a rumor. It’s certainly not a news story. Of course they are testing the M3 across product lines.  Want to hear another rumor? I heard that in January 2025 they might come out with an M4.  AND it’s RUMORED to be in the MacBook Pro.  🤡

There is no way that Apple is going to raise prices 20%. That is insane.  I also don’t really even see how this is news. Of course the phone is going to be more expensive.  It would be news if they kept the same.

They just updated the MBP to M2 in January.  I find it extremely unlikely they will go M3 in the fall.  I just bought a 16 inch MBP M2 Max 32GB 2TB 12/30 core.  I know I won’t be worried even if they do.
