  • Mouse support over USB-C could arrive for iPad Pro in iOS 13

I run dual 22" HD monitors, and aside from any floating windows (calculator, stickies) or apps that are made up of several different windows (transmission) which I do not want to take the time to arrange in a pseudo full screen look, it is a full screen app per monitor...

Now I could see a setup with an iPad Pro as the main unit, but when you get to the desk you have options for keyboard, pencil, & mouse as input devices, and the option for a second independent external monitor, which would be hooked to an AppleTV that also acted as a ports & power dock for the iPad Pro, with ability for the iPad Pro to access an external drive / array...

Would Apple release a new large monitor before they release a Mac Pro which would be the primary partner for that monitor?
Are you expecting the MP this year?  I would be nice but I don’t hold my breath on that.
Apple has clearly stated it's a 2019 product, so yes we do expect it this year.
I also expect it because Apple has stated it based on their history, but until there is a shipping product I also count all unreleased products as vaporware. In other words, the cat is dead until it’s shown to be alive.
If they can’t deliver a Mac Pro this year, they’ve truly shit the bed.  AirPower was unknown tech, this should be known territory. :)
I can't fathom why Apple finds it so hard to understand Mac Pro buyers. No one needs to be awestruck, inspired, delighted, or surprised. We need a pickup truck. Preferably one that's easy to service and accommodates off-the-shelf accessories. This isn't complicated.

The fact they’ve been working with and studying professional workflows as if it’s a new thing to them gives me hope that we will be surprised and delighted.
Bummer, I was hoping to be awestruck & inspired...

  • Radeon VII will be compatible with macOS Mojave 10.14.5

So, the forthcoming modular Mac Pro will be possible to fit an off-the-shelf Radeon VII GPU...?!?

Now if we can have an AMD option for CPU...

  • Intel officials believe that ARM Macs could come as soon as 2020

Hm, Threadripper 3 vs ARM. If I start to laugh, I'll die.
Threadripper is a great achievement on Intel’s part but ARM isn’t standing still.   ARM just released their new server architecture and it is surprisingly good.
Um, Threadripper is an AMD product, not Intel...

  • Mac Pro will be 'easy-to-upgrade,' debut in 2019 alongside 31.6-inch Apple 6K display

DisplayPort 1.4 has a max resolution of 7680x4320 at 60Hz.
So with that resolution DisplayPort 1.4 could potentially go up to 8K. Too bad we are going up to 6K next. Would any existing eGPUs support a 6K monitor? How about the "BlackMagic eGPU Pro"? Since Apple helped make that eGPU, and Apple knew 6K was coming, perhaps it's capable of 6K?
The BlackMagic eGPU Pro is a Vega 56, so it is not doing a solid 6K anytime soon...
