Trump Mobile's made-in-US iPhone 17 competitor is really made in China
Would the outsourced components be subject to tariffs, or will Trump get exceptions?
How much will it cost? I'd wager about $5,000 if were to "compete" with an iPhone.
My bet is that this is just gonna end up as vaporware, like the Tesla Roadster, and he's gonna blame it on something or someone else.
I would love to hear from a maga supporter how this is part of a plan.

Apple has again Sherlocked developers with Clipboard History
ericthehalfbee said:I think the word Sherlocked gets used too much.
Certain features are supposed to be a part of the base operating system: File manager, calculator, browser, mail, clipboard, gallery, cloud and so many more.
If you’re a developer that makes an App that’s one of these essential features I don’t think you can complain when Apple (or anyone) adds it to their OS.
If you want to gamble on a feature that people have been asking Apple to add for years, don’t be surprised when Apple finally adds it. -

White House says Trump doesn't want to harm Apple and iPhone prices won't rise
I bought two unbranded bicycle bells from Alibaba that cost me 50cents (for both), the tariffs added 75cents. That 150% tax n tariffs for a total of $1.25
This product is still astronomically cheaper than the rebranded bells at REI of the exact product for $32 each!! So now Trump's tariff is higher than the manufacturer's profits. What happens to this tariff, where does it go? And the tariff is not a deterrent since the product is still cheaper. The tariffs are a tax on Americans, not Chinese. Their price did not change for them, but it did for me and to those who buy in bulk and rebrand.
