  • Apple stocks plummet, as Trump threatens 104% tariff on China

Y'all don't understand the point of tariffs. Nothing but blind anger. Other countries have tariffs on us, but we don't have any on them. We're just levelling the table. We definitely need these tariffs because they will help us more in the long term. You guys are all about the future right? We want that debt to go down, so this is the way to do it. Also, this will make us more independent, which will lead to more jobs in the US.
That is not accurate. The way Trump is calculating tariffs is by simply dividing imports & exports the US has with other countries. So if you divide the imports of say Vietnamese goods into the US over our exports to Vietnam, you'll get 90%. That is not a tariff, it's how much your product is appealing or affordable to others. Moreover, if a country buys more goods from the US that it sells (the reverse of the pervious scenario) they still pay a tariff! It's where you see the 10% on some countries. It's makes zero logic and is laughable, I can see why other countries are aggravated.

  • China threatens App Store probe in retaliation for trade tensions

This move from China is smart. What was Trump expecting? He'll eventually have to back off.
Meanwhile, unelected billionaire Musk is ravaging through government organizations, which is completely unconstitutional.
Why did Americans choose this joker? He is a serious danger to the world.
I was about to emigrate back to the US, but we cancelled it when the election went sideways. Who wants to live there?
Because all candidates were jokers, and many citizens did not want to vote for either of them. We are brainwashed to think we have "freedoms" and one of those is the voting. We get vote for one candidate out of two, neither of which we chose and they are two cheeks of the same butt.

  • How Tim Cook gets Trump to help Apple

I am tired of the capitulation to T**** (the loser). He’s a criminal. That half of America voted for a criminal makes no difference3 in his criminal state.

When a corporation bows to a politician, it is called fascism, or state-capitalism.
when a political leader determines the winner of an economic sector, it’s fascism.

He was voted in because dems had useless candidates, again. He won by default.

  • Apple TV+ abandons Clooney and Pitt's 'Wolfs' sequel

It's hard to find original stories in movies nowadays, they all mirror older movies one way or another. Severance and Ted Lasso were great, but the others like Mosquito Coast and Silo had bad acting and felt amateurish. Anyway I know it's all subjective I know.

  • New Mac mini has a slotted & removable SSD -- but don't expect upgrades

For a start, that small board holding the storage chip is not a part consumers could easily acquire for themselves. It's a custom Apple part, so it's intended more for in-house repairs.
I understand when Apple has to charge considerably more for storage to be able to make the base price low, or for a product to not be user upgradable because it's too small, or that it has to be glued. But this, this is just evil.
