Apple Vision Pro $3,499 mixed-reality headset launches at WWDC after years of rumors
This product is gonna end up a winner, yes it's still too large and it's more of an introvert's device but the unspoken accomplishments here are going unnoticed. Similar to when the iPhone came out where you didn't need to calibrate the touch screen, this device doesn't require it either. I have tested VR glasses prototypes at my job and I tell you these things are lightyears ahead, not. to mention the prescription glasses is a big plus. -
Third ex-Apple engineer charged over Apple Car technology theft
hekg said:Hey American companies, how about you stop hiring Chinese employees?
Everything high tech that china has is all a bad copy of an American product. Including and especially military technology which one day they soon they will use against the US!
Stop hiring chinese people that still have any ties to china. -

Apple Maps redesign expected to go live in Taiwan in June
I'll have to say using Apple Maps on desktop is super frustrating and unintuitive. Especially when exploration and planning trips. It constantly zooms in and out of the areas you're trying to explore. Also the multi stops feature, clicking the [x] on one of the stops does not remove it, it only clears it! Have been trying to drag it out, hitting the delete key, nothing. Apparently you'll need to right-click it and select delete, and if you tried right clicking and it did not give you the delete window, well... do it again and it should work because the first click often opens the history menu. Hitting the Escape key when editing a stop does not hide the history menu that is blocking the rest of your route...
This is from Apple, the UI should be top notch and intuitive, and be better than Google Maps.
Same goes for the Preview app where the annotation feature is underwhelming even when compared to free tools and your selected tools are hard to distinguish in the menu.
QuickTime Player where the export features are only presets.
