Apple buys the Cellebrite device.  Figures out how it gets gets data from iOS devices, then develops a patch to close the exploit. 

Apple could also require 8 digits passcodes to make brute force attempts much more difficult to do.

If anything, nVidia is blocking Metal support on its GPUs.
The reason is that Metal makes CUDA (nVidia's own version of Metal) completely unnecessary. 
This essentially turns nVidia into a generic GPU company. 

The iPhone XS and XS MAX are PRESET to dim the screen to save battery life via a setting called Auto-Brightness.  

It is an irritating setting since I have to constantly to go the control panel to brighten the screen.
But it prolongs battery life enormously to the point the iPhone XS Max can last 2-3+ days. So I have learned to live with it.

You can turn it off by turning off the Auto-Brightness setting in the Accessibility settings when playing games:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Auto-Brightness.

Just look at how thick, loud and heavy real gaming laptops are. These laptops take full potential of the CPU and GPU. 
As the CPUs and GPUs become more powerful, Apple needs to get away from THIN and make the MacBooks THICK BEASTS again.

OpenGL will continue to work with Vulkan.
The key is that Apple will no longer include it in MacOS.
Third parties have to use Vulkan drivers, etc.
