The iPad mini 6 supports 5G up to 3.5 Gbps. I don’t think any US carrier has support for speeds that high though. I can get just under 1Gbps near my home on T-Mobile with their sub-6 bands which will be fine for my use. I’d be curious if anyone has used mmWave extensively and whether they think it being missing on the iPad mini is an issue. It certainly isn’t for me but I’ve never used mmWave. 

Everyone is making this too complicated. This law only applies to in-app-purchases. A very simple solution is to disallow free apps with non-Apple payment for IAP.

Make an app with IAP that doesn’t use the App Store for payment have a minimum price, say $4.99 (equivalent in SK). Apple gets paid for hosting. Nothing changes for other developers. Of course developers will hate it because they lose their free ride. 

Optimized charging works for me.

Insta-buy. I use my M1 MacBook Air mostly in clamshell mode at my desk. Having the Touch ID available is going to be a huge time saver. But wow, nearly $200 (after taxes) for the extended version with the usable cursor keys layout. Comes Thursday.
