That's not what it means. It means that the plaintiff may not refile a suit in the future on the same claims. It's effectively dead. A voluntary dismissal with prejudice would indicate a possible settlement between the parties.jd_in_sb said:Ending a lawsuit with prejudice means there was a settlement.
