  • watchOS also rumored to get visionOS design elements

You know AI has run its course when the next big thing for it is … drum roll … more emojis. Though someone at Apple seems obsessed with them. They can’t make their intelligence run on a Mac with all its “amazing” and “awesome” chips and whatnot so doubt the underpowered watch is their highest priority right now! But it is Apple so could totally be wrong!

  • iPhone blamed for including journalist in highly classified bombing plans

I don’t like it but the reality is that if the Defense Secretary says the information was not classified, then it is not classified and your headline is factually inaccurate. Just like when the Speaker says that the rest of the session is one day long to prevent Dems from introducing legislation then from a legal POV that is that. Is this what America voted for? I don’t know, but it wasn’t what, or who, I voted for. But there are consequences and this is one of them (along with tariffs destroying the global economy).
There is a process for the declassification of information an it is not as simple as the Secretary of Defense declaring it not classified.
Well the President said so too. So it is a done deal for all practical purposes. It is why the Atlantic published the posts - because they were not classified. I don’t like it but get over yourself. Elections have consequences and this is one of them. Instead of frothing like a rabid animal, start thinking about the elections in less than two years. It is not too late to make a difference yet. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and even Florida show the way forward.

  • Apple's premature Apple Intelligence ad subject of new lawsuit

Even if the lawsuit is meritless it draws negative attention to Apple.

The best way they can counteract this is to quickly ship a super-useful, super-effective, super-private AI-powered Siri, just like the one they pictured in their now-revoked advertisements just a few months ago.

They talked the talk. Now they have to walk the walk. Remember that Apple themselves put this forth.

Putting it forth? Almost all of Apple’s competition put forth all sorts of things and even release products in far worse condition over the years, long before Apple and it seems to be a can’t win, say nothing and you’re not touchy-feely like the rest, actually talk about it and someone wants to sue you, create or release a necessary product because if you don’t, you will never get support i.e. Apple Silicon, iMessage, Safari, Apple Watch, Apple Maps, Apple Pay etc… all were created because others think your market is too small to even bother with.
The old “but what about” defense. Stick to Apple and their promises. Go complain about others on their fan sites!

We typically upgrade phones every three years but will probably skip the 20% faster chip, the amazing new emojis that can be created and the cameras that require big money in add ons if you want your video to look like the Apple promos and wait a year. I remember reading on sites like CNBC that Apple Intelligence would drive new phone sales. It isn’t just buyers who should be annoyed, shareholders should be too given that Apple has failed to deliver. To those saying Apple hasn't failed to deliver just go look at their mea culpa  - even they admit that they haven’t delivered what they promised. Now is it worth suing over? For me, no, but don’t let being a fanboy distort reality.
