Other than delaying one feature, Apple Intelligence is doing fine. Apple didn't promise a sentient machine like others in the space did. Is that a bad thing? Them delaying something that isn't ready instead of releasing it anyway is exactly what you're asking Apple to do, yet you're criticizing them for it.

And unless you know something about how Apple Vision Pro has done so far and Apple's expectation for the product, there's no way of knowing "how it panned out." It's been pretty awesome from my perspective.

Apple is doomed is 20 years too late. It also makes the article seem more of a joke than a serious piece of journalism. Or is this an attempt to be the new Daniel? What is Apple doing make movies anyway when they should have been working on cloud, AI and new products. Another misplaced effort that has taken their eye off the real prize! 

What access to Spotify do rivals need to make their products compatible with it? If they don’t have it now, they could sue to get it or just ask Apple to supply it under the new rules. Apple can just create API’s to give devs access to these nine features for connected devices? I thought that using BT they had access but if not, then Apple should provide it. I also suspect some hyperbole on the part of Apple about how many three-way conversations they will have to have as the EU will need to devote significant resources to this. In time the major issues will be cleared up providing guidelines for new requests. So if someone asks for unencrypted notifications for headphones the outcome will affect all requests for unencrypted notifications moving forward.  

If you need a computer for AI then buy the new Nvidia Blackwell spec’ed computers. Seems they will start at around 3k.

First, this is not a little oopsie. This is a make or break moment. Remember RIM or Nokia? Me neither. If Google or Microsoft had done this the forum would be filled with memes mocking them. The reason rank and file should not be fired is that they are simply delivering on what the top ring of leadership is telling them to do. If they are fired then the top brass need to be fired too. Apple seems like a lean cat gone fat. The think a better chip and camera is awesome. They can’t deliver much and when they do it is largely irrelevant (the vision thing) or broken (the intelligence thing). Should Cook step down? Probably. But he knows how to make the share price go up with the constant iterations and the board should keep him around. But they need to bring in a new creative products director, move the 194 billion or whatever it is to that person and make them responsible only to the board with Cook having no vote. Apple has missed out on social media, EV’s, cloud, AI (software and hardware) under Cook. This person can start developing and delivering new products. If they don’t the board fires them. Once the product is developed, Cook can iterate it for the next few decades on these new products, phone, watch, tablet, pods, current services and Mac.
