Mac shipments continue to slide in Q4 as PC market grows
3.5-5 million units per quarter, as usual.
They won’t sell more than what’s roughly in this range, and they never really have, at least as long as I’ve had an account on AI.
I don’t see the issue. The market may be expanding, but in which areas? Premium devices? Budget notebooks? Apple usually rules the top of the market pyramid: unit sales are fewer but profit is plentiful. And does Apple not still command the lion’s share of profit in this area? They usually do. -
Jony Ive removed from Apple's leadership page, marking the end of an era
Relax. Everyone moves on, up or out at some point.
And design is as important at Apple as it ever was, precisely because of their business model. When you’re responsible for the entire widget in a sea of “open”, non-integrated systems, differentiation is key, and the most directly consumer-facing form of differentiation is design. Love it or hate it, Apple’s designs have always been distinctive. It isn’t reasonable to expect this to change anytime soon.

The Galaxy Fold is Samsung's $1980 7.3-inch folding smartphone

If this His is what foldable displays are about... no thanks.
What prople are wanting is the dream they seen in renders - a slim, paper like display that unscrolls and is put away with minimal footprint.
This thing is the size of a tank. And that’s what it’s sales prospects will do - tank.
Cant wait to see the YouTube troll drop tests on this one.
This.
