The outrage here is the sloppy legal interpretations of the presiding judge. The point of small claims court is to expedite suits. Involving attorneys delays court proceedings and increases court costs. That’s why you can’t have an attorney represent you in a small claim proceeding. That said, when the plaintiff filed the small claims (or preferably long before) Apple should have refunded his money and wished him well as they led him to the door. The judge was ignorant and Apple mishandled the situation.

Nuclear has the best health/safety record among the alternatives.  Its also the most efficient and produces the zero global warming gases.

Nuclear has been unfairly attacked by uninformed, hysterical critics.  Since 1946 there has only been only nuclear incident in which people died, and that was an essentially unregulated facility in Chernobyl.  France derives more than half its electricity from nuclear since the 1970s without incident.

Oil and coal economic interests have funded all anti-nuclear initiatives in the US.

Actually, when you get the chance to read more than a snippet, this isn’t bad at all. The tax rate proposed is 3% of gross revenue generated within the EU. 

That compares Apple’s current tax (expressed as a percent of revenue) which about 6%. With tax reform that rate drops to about 5%. 

The lower EU rate is made possible because the member countries tax consumption.  It’s called VAT (Value Added Tax) which is a kind of national sales tax. 

I'm one of those 8 million trial users.  Started mine after purchasing a HomePod (I wonder how many of those trials began with the purchase of a Home Pod).  Love both and will be looking to upload my library to iCloud.
