  • French media talks to Apple management in Apple Park tour

It would be nice if Apple Building/Park is opened to tourist.
Might as well do that now...Apparently, nobody wants to work in Apple Park. They'd rather sit at home and "work" while doing dishes, laundry, etc and then claim its not safe to go into a building.

  • Apple debuts new Open Source website, will release projects on GitHub

The open source website is nothing new for Apple. This has always been there. It just wasn't really advertised to the public. Developers most likely knew it existed but I doubt much of the general public did.

  • Apple unveils 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, M1 Max starting at $2499

I just know that if Steve Jobs was alive now, he would be appalled by the new laptops. He would never allow that to happen. He would definitely demand that only USB4 be used and nothing else to be more consistent with simplicity.

Who gives a shit if Steve were here. He's not so get over it. He hasn't been here for over 10yrs now. And you don't know what Steve would do. This is an entire absolute BS comment and it gets really tiring of people like you who just sit here and think what would Steve think or do like it really matters.

  • Apple hires new HomePod Software Head to boost lackluster speaker sales

IMO, I think it was silly to drop the HomePod and just focus on the $50 speaker market with a $99 speaker. Why can't Apple do both? The regular HomePod was just way too expensive. I own 2 and I only purchased them because I got them on sale for $199 both times. I think they work great, but they're just too expensive. Apple can't always get away with its pricing schemes in every market they try to enter.

What about the people recently displaced in the United States? Oh, yes, I see, China is where Apple makes their $. Hypocritical to put it lightly
Apple donates money to anyone experiencing a natural disaster, including those in the US. They've donated money after wildfires, flooding, hurricanes, etc, etc in the US. So no, Apple isn't hypocritical at all. It supports global efforts to help those in need.
