And for what reason? So you want Apple to release a new iMac or MacBook Pro with a 100-200 MHz update in CPU speed just for the sake of updating the iMac? It's pretty worthless to update the a computer for the sake of updating it. Apple tried this before and people were just as pissed off. The last few Intel CPU's that Apple can use on a lot of their products leave little to no improvement in speed, definitely nothing a general everyday consumer will see. 

Updates to hardware and software are released when they're ready. When you rush products out the door like others do, you don't really gain much in the end. 

I bought an eGPU for my 2018 Mac mini. I have a Razer Core X with a Vega 56 graphics card. About $630 total for everything. It works natively with both macOS and Windows (Bootcamp). It was fully plug n' play and I'm very happy with it. I game with it in Windows (and sometimes in macOS) and it performs quite well. 

Or you could just use 1Password and let it autofill. Not really that hard to press Command \ to let it autofill. I guess it would be nice to have either TouchID and/or FaceID to authenticate 1Password first, but I'm not really all that lazy like most folks seem to be these days.

We all went through this very same thing when Apple switched from its old Serial I/O to USB. It was dongle hell too! It took a couple of years and then USB took over. This is really nothing new and guess what, yes, this was on Steve's watch along with other I/O interface changes throughout the years. Stop with the if Steve were here shit!
