Additionally to other responses here… streamers do little to help subscribers have continued access to their home country libraries while they are traveling. I guess it’s a minority use case that doesn’t justify the investment in features. I have a Prime account in the US but when I’m in Germany for example I’m redirected to the German site so I can’t watch the series I’m already watching or the movies and shows available in my account at home. They are using a simple IP restriction rather than identifying me correctly. Of course, if I planned in advance I could download the content I might watch for offline viewing, but c’mon, y’all this is 2023, why should I have to be so 1980?

The timeline for the current agreement is longer than the timeline for Apple to stay on a given processor architecture. Just saying…

Dumb and stupid by Sunbird and Nothing, yes. Dumber and more stupid is anyone who gives their credentials to a third party app or web site. Think Venmo and any other app/site that throws up a request to log in, regardless of how legitimate the page looks. That page is usually running within the context of the app/site so who can ever know what’s being done with your credentials? If it’s not a native browser secure session directly to the service, just say no. 

I don't understand why almost all the reviewers for the M3 machines claim confusion over positioning. They're so clearly aimed at folks with Intel machines coming up for replacement. Sliding in ahead of Intel launching their next gen. And right before Christmas, to boot! Timing is everything and I'll bet this has been the plan for a long time - you don't pop out 3 new processors on cutting edge silicon process and their machines on a whim. There's stocking-stuffers here for everyone :-)

The most notable thing here is not the M3 performance but that Apple is capable of delivering 3 versions of one of the most complex SoC’s in the world on the world’s most advanced node in one step. Competitor design houses, take note. Also, remember (to everyone’s surprise and puzzlement) when they bought all the flash memory around the world - they knew what was coming next. They’ve bought all TSMC’s 3nm capacity, so what comes next…?
