Apple MR headset may be delayed by software problems
Why would Apple release an MR headset? Is it for media consumption (and game companies are Apple-sceptics) or for developers? I’m more inclined to think this will be aimed at the WWDC audience meaning numbers would be low and the price high to discourage consumers. When worthy applications start to appear, the price will fall. In parallel, Apple still has to work a lot harder on making their SoC’s game-ready. -

New Mac Pro may not support PCI-E GPUs
Considering that so far there’s been zero evidence of a PCIe interface in Apple Silicon, this has seemed obvious for a very long time. Of course, everything being within Apple’s control, they could surprise us with a Pro-specific SoC sporting a PCIe interface. But that really breaks the performance and memory advantages of unified memory, so I’m very doubtful. -
After Apple's busy January, the rest of the quarter may be quiet
Seriously. These suggestions have no basis in reality. Launching upgrades involves significant work, it’s not something casually tossed out to tame the markets like a sales promo. The Jan upgrades are the tip of the iceberg, and we will see they were necessary to get out of the way to rationalise the product line for whatever comes next.
