TOP Performance ... TOP = Totally Obnoxious Pricing
    Here we go...
Please configure a stupid PC that comes anywhere near the power and price of the iMac Pro before spouting off these types of comments. When you find one, make sure it can actually run OTS software.
GamePC (Silicon Valley company that makes custom workstations) has Xeon W listed in their prices.

    For comparison:

iMac Pro - $9,699 (same configuration that MKBHD had)
    • Intel Xeon W-2155 (downclocked)
    • Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB HBM2 (downclocked)
    • 128 GB DDR4-2666 ECC
    • 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD
    • 10 Gb network card
    • MacOS
    • 1 year warranty

    GamePC GMT-W7/300 - $6,514 (PC) + $1,299 (Dell UP2715K display) = $7,813
    • Intel Xeon W-2155
    • Radeon Pro Vega Frontier Edition (Vega 64) 16 GB HBM2
    • 128 GB DDR4-2666 ECC
    • 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD
    • 10 Gb network card (2x)
    • Windows 10 Pro
    • 1 year warranty

That's $1,886 less for a more powerful workstation that can be upgraded and won't have thermal throttling.

Of course, that's just one company's price.
You lost me at Game PC. What design company buys no support computers from some company called Game PC that been around for a day and has web footprint the size of a gnat?

  • Apple's $4,999 all-in-one iMac Pro launches Thursday, Dec. 14

Still blows my mind that this is a pro machine but you can’t get inside of it. I can understand most of Apple’s portable products being sealed but professional workstations? Why? Even the 27” iMac allows upgrades to the RAM.
Since it's probably expensive ECC ram, some users would try to throw in some cheap ram and complain to Apple when it has issues or doesn't work. Then they'll try to get a new iMac Pro with their warranty.
Doubtful as I suspect anyone buying this machine knows a thing or two about computers.
Most of these will be sold to big design companies and IT only provides minimal support, like new keyboards and mice. Thats my experience. They don't bother with upgrading ram or SSD.

  • Apple has 'moral obligation' to promote free expression in China, U.S. Senator says

Tim is at the apex of hypocritical CEOs. He's a complete pushover when it comes to China, and will cut every corner regarding privacy when it comes to making a buck there. In the U.S. however, he'll fight tooth and nail when it comes to helping the feds in unlock a terrorist phone.
When you look at terrorist attacks on the US it is so small compared to countless other ways people are killed why on earth would you risk opening every FBI, CIA, NSA, ..., personal communication that contains TOP Secret information to be leaked out to the world where terrorists abroad will do far more damage by killing American servicemen and women. The proof is here today! If Amazon had similar security maybe sensitive NSA and Army information would not be all over the web. Lets face it, its my experience that if you are 50 or over you are probably technology challenged, not everyone. If you think Hillary is the only one to leak sensitive information on an unsecured phone you are blind. I am willing to bet most of our older Senators don't really know what wifi is.

  • Apple sells out of launch day iPhone X supply in matter of minutes

Apple really screwed up this morning. It sold out in minutes which would be fine if everyone got a fair chance, but the Apple Store wasn't available in my country until 5 minutes after it should have been. By the time it went out of maintenance mode delivery dates had already slipped to 20-27 november.
What a bunch of millennials, do you have any idea how difficult it is to provide 10 million anything to such high quality standards? No, you don't care ,"I want my iPhone now!"
Give it a rest. You should be cheering for Apple's success that you have something that means that much in your life you are willing to complain.

  • Qualcomm CEO reiterates Apple feud comes down to IP pricing

Having said that, Obama himself is an example of an extraordinary person who through application of significant effort and intellect made it to the top in his field; public service, and deserves respect for that and for his steady hand at the helm for the eight years he served as president.
Clearly Trumps IQ is superior because he says so. I'm sure he can't spell Quotient either. Feel free to remove
