    ASUS and UGreen are to be applauded thus far for at least getting TB5 units ready to ship out the door by end of Q1. Other peripheral players that you’d have expected to grasp the nettle are still languishing on TB3 (TB4 wasn’t worth the number upgrade as the same).

    The Mac Studio M4’s in the Summer are all going to require these as a matter of course at time of purchases. I’ll have 4 x 1440p monitors to connect up then when I finally move away from the Mac Pro 5,1

  • Classic 'Marathon Infinity' lands on Steam as a free Mac title

    Fabulous. My second hooked-on game and I was so into it in the mid-to-late-90s, pushing the then PowerMac 604 chips to the max. 

    Then the Network game editor came out where you could create your own Maps. I remember having the entire office Ether-networked with it on all the PowerMacs, then all my colleagues and I played it every lunchtime, with a map based on the geography of the facility we worked in. Fantastic memories.

    HALO then came along in the early Noughties and I never looked back.

    I personally prefer smaller SE size iPhones.  Only thing it really needs is another camera lens for me, preferably the Wide Angle. 

    SE2 has been bought by most of my family and friends and it’s all they want or need.  Most would agree a second camera would be very handy and an upgrade to 16Mp from 12Mp.

  • Former Apple hardware engineer joins Rivian

    Rivian have a great product, put on the map by Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman’s 3rd (now Electric) Motorbike odyssey in “THE LONG WAY UP” documentary series on Apple TV. 

    Rivian gave their production team the TWO EV Prototype 4x4s to travel in as assist vehicles. They travelled up the whole of South America in them.

    Is this one unexpected advantage of Brexshit in that the UK is longer in the EU, so I would assume that’ll exclude the UK and it’ll get Apple Intelligence alongside the States?
