  • 'iPhone storage almost full' message plaguing some iOS 15 users

Since the GM/RC version went out, my iPhone 12 Pro Max shows Zero KB out of 256GB in the Setting -> General -> iPhone Storage area.

In Settings -> General -> About, I have 'Capacity' showing 256GB and 'Available' at a whopping 300.94GB.  It has fluctuated over the past couple days.  I sent in a feedback report over the weekend when it was only at 283GB available.  However, my iPad on iOS 15 shows proper data.  No one else in the house has updated to iOS 15 yet

  • Apple's future keyboards may employ colored backlight for user feedback

Am I missing something that makes this different than a Razer keyboard with individually backlit keys?  Or the Razer Blade which brings the concept to a laptop?
Yes, you are missing something. Actually read the article. This patent speaks of individual key lighting control, ambient light detection, etc. It’s not just a lighted, color keyboard. That being said it’s just a patent and I can’t imagine Apple going this route for aesthetic reasons. Like all of the big tech companies, Apple gets thousands and thousands of patents granted every year that never see the light of day in a product.
While my Razer laptop and keyboard do not adjust automatically to ambient light, I can change the color of each individual key to whatever I like.  I can even change it so the color changes when I press the key.  I can even get it to do a ripple effect across the whole keyboard if I so choose to. It is highly customizable to what the lighting scheme is.  Solid, pulsing, rotating, and on key press.

  • Allegations of discrimination spawn investigation into Apple Card credit lines

I signed up as soon as I got the beta invite and my limit was over $10k My wife, who has a slightly higher rating than I, signed up when the card went live for everyone. She got $1,000 as her limit with the highest APR. It irritated her, but she didn’t really plan on using it that often anyhow.

About a month later she was thinking about calling to get an increase so she could put an iPhone 11 on it when they launched. As she went in to get contact info she noticed her limit was now MUCH higher with a much lower APR. She got an email the next day saying that due to the rush of new signups the system was just defaulting everyone to $1,000 with max APR, and that after manual review her limit and APR was adjusted accordingly.

Rather than just assuming discrimination, maybe contact GS and ask for a review?  I mean. Stuff happens.

  • watchOS 6 for Apple Watch is now available to download

I have a Series 4 watch but an iPhone 6, which doesn't support iOS 13.  How will I update my watch?
    Per Apple:
watchOS 6 requires iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later, and one of the following Apple Watch models:

  • How to reset your HomePod and connect it to a new Apple ID

Sadly, if you do not use the account who runs the 'Home', any additional speakers can't use HomeKit.

I was going to hook my wife's office speaker so she could use Personal Requests in her office, but then it removes it from the household.
