If you notice the colours used on the invite, and compare those to the recently leaked phone cases, I think there might actually be a clue there.
They’re the same six colors found in the original Apple logo. Nothing more to it.
Uh... no. Look again. Not saying it’s anything earth shattering, but definitely some new Spring colours there.

  • Apple kept iMessage off Android to lock users in to iOS

It has often been said that manufacturers of light bulbs could have invented one that never needed replacing, but didn’t go down that track for obvious reasons. I don’t think that not developing something is anti-competitive. It’s like suing car makers for not inventing a car that runs on water.

So, just wondering, does Apple also promote other religions such as Christianity at Easter?
Passive-Aggressive much?!  Apple is not promoting any religion - it’s just using a festival to promote their products.

Why do you care anyway? You people don’t believe in Science, and think that everything was created by the invisible man in the sky. So, accept that this is all part of His plan and stop whining!

Besides, Apple is in the midst of reworking their India strategy. Apple is using this occasion to promote the iPhone because most Indians celebrate Holi. If a billion Indians celebrated Easter, Apple would promote that too.
So, perhaps I should have said: Does Apple do anything to “Mark” other religious festivals such as the Christian celebration of Easter.  Just wondering, as it seems that people are ok with mocking Christianity, but respect all other religions. Just an observation.

  • Apple on hook for $308.5M in DRM patent suit

In these cases, where “companies” have simply bought a patent that is similar to an industry-wide practice, the payout figure needs to be somehow based on a percentage of the infringed companies’ own production numbers vs the infringing company. So that a company that makes zero products themselves have essentially a zero dollar claim, but a company that has a $5M turnover, which could be shown to have been $50M, had the IP not been copied, are compensated appropriately. This would, as Apple states, stop these ridiculous non-practicing entities from making ludicrous claims.
