Also, I'd recommend, Not changing the name to iTunes/NetFlix. Anecdotally, there are too many Anti-Apple people that may not buy for that reason alone... and it dilutes the brand.

Although, having an "iTunes features section" on NetFlix could complement the service. I'm not certain how... but there is an opportunity to cross-sell Apple services via NetFlix.

What if there was an iMessage/iCloud services connection? Sharing favorites, reviews, etc.?

I'm in favor of Apple making this sort of acquisition. I'd say, don't change a thing about the service/management/operations.

Simply offer a discount to NetFlix to people that buy the latest and greatest AppleTV. With each release of ATV, offer the monthly discount for the life of the person's subscription, for the first 3 months that the new model is offered. I believe it would mean millions & millions of extra sales!

Boost the sale of ATV's & have all of the various user data/entertainment options, etc.

No there are no penalties. No the EU Commission does not receive any of the recovered taxes. There is no direct financial benefit to the Commission from the ruling.

Thank you. So Ireland is "fighting" with itself. I'd say that ultimately, Ireland will (slowly) pay itself back taxes with Apple's (slow) help.

I hear what you're saying and it may be true to some extent. And the article also points to Cirrus making More components per phone which equals more money per phone. I expect prices to stay consistent.

Funny that the Chinese have built The Great Wall(s) of China over more 1,500 years to protect their borders and control the trade routes through their country. Next thing you'll say is that to hell with protecting national borders and trade routes.

On topic, to destroy a few iPhones, to get publicity by "destroying something American," is in fact troubling. Apple has been respectful of the Chinese... and Apple is having to deal with the "squeeze" of the Chinese gov't regarding the App Store, censorship, etc.
