For various reasons, it's very hard to update a secure OS if you have limited storage space. It's even harder if you have limited address space. The Apple Watch has both these limitations. The only way to update it is to do a back up, wipe it and reinstall it. Apple could make it a lot easier by automatically unpairing the Apple watch during the update and restore process so that the user sees none of this. Apple has a nasty habit of not caring about older devices. This causes them to slow down and become less functional over time. The side effect is that users are more likely to upgrade when this happens which just reinforces Apple's behavior.

You know how Apple likes to pride itself on the security of personal information? They took the victim's personal identification, looked up his photo, used facial recognition on it handed it all over to the police and got him arrested. So how exactly did Apple protect the victim's personal information? Apple is learning bad habits from their Chinese business.

Summary: The iPad Pro has amazing hardware but meh software.
My take: The iPad Pro running Mac OS with full touch screen support would be a pure drool fest. An instant buy now and a huge industry disrupter. Steve Jobs would have released it immediately.

That's great! I am going to go mine some Bitcoin on my iPhone right now. Oh right, I can't. The iPhone App Store is a monopoly and Apple does not allow crypto mining apps on its App Store because they don't think their customers should do that with their iPhones.

Everyone was hoping for a M1 but we got the three year old A12 instead. I guess Apple was afraid people would hack it to run MacOS.
