The Apple Car may not be a product. It could be a service as in "Call an Apple Car, I need a ride home."
When your Apple Car arrives, it will already be setup for you the way you like it. You can continue watching your TV show or movie. Your favorite music will play or your workspace will appear if you need to send some messages or check your calendar.

I really hope the solution is allowing third party app stores. That would break the monopoly and still allow customers to make the decision as to whether they prefer a tightly controlled app ecosystem or a less restrictive app environment.

If you design an app to be rejected, it will be rejected. Shock I know.

Rather than extend the free period, Apple should just announce that everyone will get Apple TV for free as long as they make at least one qualified purchase every year. That would be a nice pot sweetener for anyone considering a new Mac, iPhone or Air Pods Pro.

Positive news for everyone. When tech companies compete, everyone benefits, even the companies themselves. Right now Apple has a very strong lead with the M1 and A series CPUs. They have a lot of catching up to do in their GPUs but Apple has an amazing team in their silicon division. If Intel really could compete with the M1, that would spur Apple to put even more resources into their own processors. I see this as positive all around. The only question now is: Can Intel actually compete with Apple or NVIDIA or Samsung or Qualcomm or ...?
