There are already Thunderbolt 5 devices & cables for Apple's new pro Macs
The two things I'd really want from Thunderbolt 5 are a good 8k monitor, and something to allow plugging two 40Gb/s storage devices into one port.

Just the ability to do nano texture on a touchscreen is very interesting. I'm drooling a bit, but not upgrading anytime soon.

I’ve had a ProGrade Digital Thunderbolt reader for 2-3 years now. This looks about the same. Does this also need a driver for XQD? -

French customer receives Mac Studio order a few days early
Would think most photographers/videographers would prefer CF-Express B.M68000 said:Congrats French customer. I’m thinking these studio models will sell very well. That SD card slot on the front is brilliant, people into photography\videography will love this. At the same time, the “regular” mini is great. I will take a mini or studio over the iMac any day, just love the options of hooking hardware up to it.
