Once again, only the lawyers win!

  • Maryland Apple Store first to vote in favor of unionization

Unions used to be important in the day where there were no workers right but these days they are outdated, out of touch with reality. Sadly, they only have themselves to blame, greedy, unreasonable demands, bullying by some, and pretty much meant lots of manufacturing has simply left the country.

However, in this case. Costs will go up. Shops could close. This is not to say people should not be paid what they are worth but the unions can’t help themselves and push it too far. The only losers are the union members themselves- take a good look at what’s happened globally.

  • Workers at NYC Grand Central Apple Store start moving to unionize

Unions are draconian, they stifle business, increase costs and are run by selfish bullies who are only focused on their own self gain. Unions served a purpose many years ago but there are now much stronger workplace laws that unions are obsolete.

  • Apple shareholder group urges a no vote on CEO Tim Cook's $99M pay package

There is no denying Tim Cook should be suitably compensated, whether that amount is justified, only they know. One thing for sure, he certainly doesn't need that amount of money, unless he is striving to be as rich as a Russian oligarch. This is where I believe capitalism is failing - to some degree. Business must drive for efficiencies and profit, otherwise, they will just be as bloated as government agency but I truly believe, wealth needs to be more fairly distributed. A portion of business profits should be distributed to everyone in the Company, after all, they are contributing to the business. I absolutely believe CEO's should be suitably compensated and yes be incredibly wealthy but all businesses should distribute some portion of profits to all its people.
