  • Australian 'big four' bank NAB adopts Apple Pay, Westpac lone holdout

Westpac what a pile of crap. Absolute no regards for what their customers want. Anyone coming to Australia or thinking of opening a bank account in Australia, this is a clear message who not to go with!!!

Their own tech... a wrist band, really!!. I can’t even call that tech, it’s almost embarrassing.

Seriously, what a lousy, lousy bank.

  • Apple Card: no multi-user support, no penalty rates, foreign transactions, more

I just want frequent flyer points like those offered by Amex to make this my card of choice over any other. Regardless, I will be getting one, but it may not be the first I reach for... that is of course, when it arrives in Australia, which could be a very long wait if ApplePay is anything to go by.

  • Apple Card offers simplified and secure Goldman Sachs-backed credit card with daily reward...

Very cool card, great secure service and seems a fair in terms of all its "no costs" option. I love it but I really, really want to earn frequent flyer miles with my credit card. Frequent flyer miles that I can transfer to any airline or at least the main airlines. With that option, I am all in with AppleCard and to be able to say good bye to Australia banks credit card would be so great to help prize apart their colluding grip on Australia consumers!!

Australian banks, like Westpac and Nab continue to solely focus on their shareholders than they do costumers and this is surely going to back fire as other services come in that are better value, safer more secure and ultimately act to service the user than to line the pockets of their shareholders with complete disregards to what their customers actually want. Bring it on Apple... with frequent flyer points of course.

  • Apple's 'It's show time' video and Apple News event is on March 25 at Steve Jobs Theater

"Apple previously used the "it's showtime" -- notably without the space between "show" and "time" -- tagline in September 2006 when it debuted the Apple TV."

If I may, my dream event:

    It's show time.

    AppleTV 5 announced
New Siri remote with 3D touch and Taptic Engine
    animoji karaoke
A12 Chip with game developers on board.

    New video service
    free to all Apple users
Apple will support 4k Dolby Vision/Atmos on every production

    HomePod Soundbar
Atmos support and pairs with HomePods

    AirPower
Internal battery so it works unplugged
    Supports new Siri Remote

Big call for free to all Apple users maybe free to all Apple Music Subscribers that would be a wow factor but the numbers surely could not add up unless content is a loss lead.

For me, all I want is BBC News streamed live so I can finally get rid of Foxtel (satellite TV).

In fact, allow me to pay the UK TV license and get all BBC television would be a bargain in my book.

  • LG TV support for HomeKit and AirPlay 2 to launch mid 2019

It is pretty disappointing that LG are not providing an update to all their high end LG models such as the OLED TVs they released in the last two or three years. It is not as if their TVs were cheap nor a consumable device that can simply be thrown out and replaced with a new feature is released. TVs are generally a 5 year or more life cycle.

There is no way the technology within the TV that is 2 or 3 years old cannot support the basic function of AirPlay. LG OLED TVs are fantastic but they don't even bother to update their own OS on recent TVs either a year old.

It is a bizarre strategy because it feels like, you pay a small fortune to buy an LG TV but that is where their commitment to you ends. No interest in retaining you as a customer, no interest in making you feel like your investment is at least worth it.

It is a shame as their TVs are great but as demonstrated here within months of buying it, its already obsolete, and what was a "smart TV" becomes not so "smart".
