Customers still can't access My Cloud data after Western Digital hack fallout
The best solution to these types of issues it to use local NAS, and protect it with WireGuard tunneling with a configuration file for each authorized device to access out side of the network. I use PiVPN on Ubuntu server, and WireGuard clients for reach device. This way I can also access my home router from anywhere in the world. I am unaffected by mishaps with WD, QNAP, Synology, or any other commercial solution. -

Apple chose a bad year to launch expensive iPads that aren't compelling
This is the problem with being a publicly traded company with shareholders pressuring engineers to milk the customer. If Wozniak were CEO and in control of Apple decisions, I'm sure the product lineup would already be several generations ahead. We still have slow lighting ports on $1k iPhones, cheaply made keyboards for iPad Pro, Macs without touch screen, A Touch Bar instead of every key on the keyboard having an OLED surface, deprecated MacOS Server functions...the list goes on. Lets not forget how they shunted Ubuntu's efforts with the GTAT sapphire supply chain scandal. There is a dark side of the Apple giant. -
