  • Apple calls for SEC to mandate public emissions disclosures

This is called using regulations to harm your competitors. So Apple is all about more regulations since they already know their competitors are not doing the same things as Apple and Apple know there is this push to force pensions plans to only invest in companies that meet certain green goals.

This is no different than Amazon lobbying for $15 minimum wage because they know smaller companies can not afford this and will eventually fail.
This is only about reporting not about changing how companies do business, and if you had taken time to actually read everything you would have noticed that it was the SEC that asked for opinions on this matter, it was not Apple that started the discussion, Apple only gave its own opinion.
If anything it would be about marketing, and considering that almost every Apple competitor in the field is claiming some sort of environmental goal/achievement, it would just make the claims more transparent.

  • Ad companies still thinking about 'fingerprinting' to work around Apple's privacy rules

Apple should simply put it into their contract, that whoever tries to bypass the no tracking request by any means gets kicked out of the AppStore.

Trying to plug one hole after another is a never ending battle; this is better solved by contract law and massive punitive fees as well as AppStore bans.
That is what Apple has done.

Not sure why Apple would want to try to extend its privacy reach into another corporations servers.
Apple would not be extending its privacy policies into other corporations servers, they would just be applying its privacy policy to apps that were using services that were built for user tracking - that practice is forbidden without user authorisation. Companies might try do disguise these as legitimate server connections, but once these kind of services become known to Apple, Apple will have the right to terminate the app.

I thought Apple had already stoped using Nuance tech.

  • Apple chip partner TSMC to take part in White House semiconductor shortage summit

It is kind oh weird that Alphabet is there but not Apple nor Microsoft. I mean, even taking into account that Google builds its own servers and sells some small appliances, it’s business doesn’t seem to suffer much from any supply chain hiccups, certainly not in the same way as a company whose main business is to sell hardware.
