Apple not only company fighting Google over video, as YouTube is cut from Amazon Echo Show...
BTW my xbox one S does not support 4k youtube video either. My Vizio 4k doesnt have a native 4k youtube app. The only way i can output youtube on 4k on my tv is by using chromecast, which is annoying, because its like airplay, its not native.
they need to sort this out, especially with the xbox one X coming out in november. -

I own over 200 HD movies on itunes and I can tell you I will not be buying those same movies again just because its 4k. I was expecting a free upgrade of those movies to 4k.
I think 4k should not cost more.... Its the same content, just a different resolution. Hollywood wants to pull the same trick they did when we went from dvd's to blue-rays. Well guess what, nobody is buying physical media anymore, it wont work this time. -
YouTube TV comes to 14 more US cities like Boston, Seattle & Pittsburgh
mytdave said:I find it curious that we're geographically restricting content on the INTERNET. Who cares what city you live in? This is the friggin Internet! Wasn't one of the original goals of the Internet to provide unrestricted global access? (I mean geographically, I don't mean free reign to access anyone's server/PC/device connected to it.) Second point: Why are so many organizations in the entertainment industry still not getting it? People are "cutting the cord" on cable/satellite because of STUPID BUNDLES. Holy shit, get a damn clue already. YouTube TV is just another stupid bundle delivered over a different distribution medium. No friggin different than cable. Good god almighty.
i agreed with you on bundles -

You can't skip commericals with the DVR. That is no deal for me.
I absolutely HATE commericals.
Advertising is the BAIN of society.
Its also missing HUGE channels like TNT, NBA TV, and NFL Network. For a sports fan that is a no go (NFL, NBA, Soccer, ect)
I think streaming channels should have commercials unless you paid for a subscription like Netflix or hbo.
