Huawei has now lost most of its RAM, flash, processor suppliers after US blacklist [u]
The U.S. blacklist is supposedly for security reasons, but there have been no publicly demonstrated vulnerabilities or malware reported on any Huawei devices. As some of you may recall, Bloomberg published a news article a few months back regarding Chinese-made server hardware having intentional back doors to allow their government to spy on us. All of that was quickly refuted by Apple, Google, and others. Unless new information comes forward, this looks like unfounded Trump administration pressure on a big Chinese company designed to create leverage in unrelated trade disputes.
