I am genuinely excited about the Vega 20 option, though the minimum entry point is over $2.9K. Still, these early benchmarks look promising.
I want to see some FCPX and Compressor benchmarks, please. Those are my main workflows. Can you compare it to the base 6-core Mac Pro with the D500 chip? It's nearly the same price, but it's much older hardware. I'd also like to see where the MacBook Pro Vega 20 stacks up against the base 8-core iMac Pro which costs $1K more than a similarly spec'd MacBook Pro Vega 20. Thanks!

Apple users blame Apple. Because when you create everything from chips to the OS, it’s all your “fault,” as far as users are concerned. This is, however, a very positive thing. In the Microsoft Windows world, there’s a lot of finger pointing between hardware vendors, driver writers, and Microsoft. And it’s entirely the user’s job to sort it out. OTOH, if Face ID doesn’t work, you can just contact Apple support. You don’t have to figure out if it’s a software, driver, or hardware problem.

The real question is: is the third party or independent reseller responsible (or even authorized on Apple’s behalf) for swapping out the phone, or even diagnosing a claimed Face ID issue?

If you listen to the pundits, 500,000,000 Android phones are activated worldwide for every iPhone anyway, so what would this boycott achieve?
