wood1208 said:humble to listen to customers is better than arrogance like I know better. If I am Apple, I would make that 6.1" LCD iPhone X with thin across top bezel to cover sensors/camera etc.Rest of iPhone X is awesome.

When Samsung fails to impress, Android fans just keep sheepishly buying Samsung phones because what else are they gonna do? Switch to iPhone?

StrangeDays said:No major design change from last year, right? and this is how the WSJ frames it:
"Last year's Galaxy S8 was a particular gem of a device, glassy and stark with that 'infinity display' stretching almost entirely across the front. [...] So why change anything? Nine versions in, Samsung feels it has landed on the right design for its Galaxy S phones. A company spokeswoman compared Samsung's approach to the way a luxury car maker might build new models: Nip and tuck, but don't change what people already love."
...yet trolls and haters were losing their goddam minds when Apple didn't make drastic changes for change's sake on the iPhones. Hmmm.

Supply chain makes claim that Apple is already planning to ditch the iPhone X notch in fal...
DAalseth said:Weren't there supply chain rumours not that long ago that the iPhoneX was going to be discontinued? I mean it's possible that Apple will eliminate the notch, but these types of sources don't have a stellar record. And 18 months out, it's all speculation at this point. I suspect Apple themselves haven't made any firm decisions about this one way or the other just yet. I suspect Apple may very well be experimenting with notch less displays. But experimentation is a long way from saying that Apple has decided.
